Penn State Libraries now offers online access to important philosophy journals from the Philosophy Documentation Center (PDC). This new collection provides online access and full-text searching to philosophy journals already available in print at Penn State, as well as access to new journal titles. For a list of available journals, visit the Penn State Philosophy Documentation Center Collection.

The Philosophy Documentation Center is a non-profit organization that provides access to scholarly journals and monograph series in applied ethics, classics, philosophy, and religious studies. Users may search the PDC E-Collection using the Search box in the top right-hand corner of the webpage or by using the Advanced Search option next to the Search box. This will search the entire PDC collection, so you may find articles for which Penn State has no online access.

Users can access the PDC Collections via the Libraries’ Databases A-Z list under “Philosophy Documentation Center Collection.” For questions about the PDC Collections, help using this resource, or if you need to get your hands on an article with no full-text access, please contact the Philosophy Librarian.
